In 1999-2001 I had quarterly business trips to Dallas, and I always took
some time to go out and ride the McKinney Ave. trolleys. One of the
motormen was Pat Greco from Monesson - he graduated from Duquesne University
a few years before I did, and we had common acquantenances there.
MATA has a couple of ex-TTC PCC's. The last I heard they plan to run them
using a turntable (built from a railroad bridge) at one end of the line.
I'll be back in Dallas regularly in 2006, and look forward to visiting MATA.
There are some good, interesting restaurants along the trolley line. For
