Jerry sent me two pictures resulting from his visit to PTM has  
June.   The handsome chap in the orange shirt is his friend Mark  
McGuire from Jacksonville.  I thought you folks should see who writes  
to you once in a while.

The old curmudgeon with dunlaps disease (the gut dun lap over the  
belt) is Fred Schneider.   I'm not sure what the real treat was.  Was  
the language all that blue or did I actually manage to keep it  
clean?   This last Saturday night that beast (2711) had gotten so bad  
that just taking your foot off the power pedal would cause it to go  
into full dynamic (better ideas from SEPTA).  I had heard of some of  
the SEPTA rewired cars that motorman actually ran by removing power  
at the proper point in order to stop where they wanted to...
