Yes, it apparently happened, probably in July 1952. The Akron RR Club took
two chartered 1600s down the Charleroi line. But photos? I don't know.
I'll have to look through the Bill Gwinn negatives when I have time, and
unfortunately, this week isn't a good one for me!

All of the infiormation shared on fares, accidents have been tremendous
and added to my
files of PRCo History. Now I am bringing a subject on PCCs in Donora,
I remember very
clearly a PCC in Donora near the end of operation and one that used the
wye to turn around, this
had to be a special fan trip. I know it is true, cause I was there
when it happened and I ought to
know! The picture of this after 50 plus years is staill clear in
this 64 year old mind! The reason
for posting this is to see if anyone else remembers or even has a
picture?
