Junction Hollow is the older name for Panther Hollow. Its name came from
the junction of the B&O lines at its south end.

Someone more familiar needs to clarify something for me ... my father
used to refer to the ravine next to Carnegie Tech as Panther
Hollow. Has the name been changed?
