Bro Mark M corrected me on the statement I made about the BIG SNOW and Donora, I failed to
emphasize the fact the Snow Blower and trolleys ran as long as they could before the snow got to deep that absolutely nothing moved on the roads or highways in Donora.   My gandparents lived on 10th street, we took the Donora Street Car to first street which was somewhat clear, but getting out of the car on the end of the line at First Street, we had to walk up that steep hill  to our home in
the Cement City area of town, witched seemed to take hours because of how deep the snow was.  But I was there and remember how bad things became.   Literal 'carved" out passagways in the streets to try and get to a store, but most food was gone.   i will take a snow storm over these nasty
Hurricanes here in Florida.
