Ed believes in getting his facts right - a very rare commodity.  And that 
requires reading and research - again, a very rare commodity in this day and 
age.

Ed is one of several who have taught me over the years to try to avoid 
passing off opinion (or vague memory from past) as fact.  And its not just 
the railfan fraternity - its everywhere.
