Drake loop opened after Washington closed.   Drake wye immediately  
south of Walther stop and north of Drake loop opened before the line  
to Washington was abandoned, and service in the spring of 1953 was  
reduced from half hourly to hourly between Drake and Washington.   
Alternating cars ran only to Drake wye.

Without trying to be boorish, Jerry, and I recognize you were off the  
list for a while, this was discussed in the past and the dates of the  
loop and the wye are somewhere in the permanent file of messages  
where they can be retrieved if you need them.

About the same time Chareroi was also reduced to hourly beyond West  
Library loop.
