So that makes the €100 note I got out of an ATM in Dublin in 2002 for $92 worth $145.  Not bad, but I've done as well or better on some stocks.

The 10 Euro notes that were left in my wallet in October were then  
worth $13.44.    Today they're worth 14.50.
