The rabbit in Spanish is "el conejo." Just the word 'rabbit' is conejo, pronounced CO Nay HO. I really don't know what "jackrabbit" is. Perhaps, el conejo grande (the large rabbit). Or maybe, el conejo con orejas grande (the rabbit with large ears). Maybe they don't even have jackrabbits in Spain. Then all their rabbits would just be 'conejos', or, rabbits. In the US there are two types of jackrabbits, white tailed and black tailed. Therefore, there would be 'conejos grande con un cola blanco', and, 'conejos grande con un cola negro'. Noteworthy is the fact that an English 'cola' is a drink and a Spanish 'cola' is a tail. Go figure. Also, the Jackrabbit has tracks so that opens up a whole new string of Spanish 'noun-making'. I am not going to attemp that right now. 
   
  Of course, as we all know, a Pittsburgh streetcar is 'la tranvia de la ciudad de Pittsburgh'. While Pittsburgh Railways Company could be La Compania de la Ferrocarril de Pittsburgh.
