Note the "frame" around the Safety Every, etc message. PRCo always sold advertising on the sides and rear of their cars. It appears that the safety message was there to be a "public service' type message when a paid advertisement did not cover it over. Page 33 of the same book shows the rear end of an air-electric car. Note that the advertising frame is higher and much smaller than the 1700-series rear advertising frame.

Pg.19 of Touring Pgh by Trolley by Harold A. Smith shows the back of 
1790 in front of Keating with such a 'decal!!' Will see if I have 
photos of any Air-Cars!!! Will search old files to see if I have 
any photos from the backs of 17s that were used to submit to SPTC!!
