Good Morning!!!!!!!
.
.
M541 was another 2-car numbering with the first one built by Laclede for
United Traction as 426 and was possibly renumbered to 458 with PRCo
numbering it to 612 before converting it at Manchester for work duty on
1924.03.21; it was scrapped by burning at West Park on
1927.05.12. The second M541 was built by Clark Car Company in 1914
and was numbered as M502 by PRCo when converted to work service on
1930.06.11 and is listed as a Loco. for rail car. It was scrapped
by burning at Ingram on 1951.12.06.
.
Note the St. Louis 3800s lined up in Palm Garden -- it was 1950 when
the 3700s and 3800s saw their last service so many here are probably
just biding time. Makes it difficult to use M541 as all those
other cars have to be moved first!!!
