Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is perhaps one of the best in the USA (we still have 24-hour service on 12 routes; even the wealthy ride the bus, car, and train; service improvements continue constantly; bus rapid transit (in the middle of Euclid Avenue) is under construction; new equipment (buses) are purchased annually; cars and trains are being rebuilt every month) and yet it is one of the oddes systems to work for! We have no annual "system pick" like PATransit or most other systems wereby operators may change operatiing stations. Once you are assigned to a station you are there for the duration.

Will tackle the SHRT question later.
