[PRCo] Re: PCCs in Operation

As the last production PCC streetcar built in the U.S., perhaps they would 
want to keep 1040 as original as possible.

After all, I doubt anybody is going to make "Iron Monster" #1 ADA compliant 
since it is a historical vehicle.

My understanding is that the St. Charles cars in N.O. and the cable cars in 
S.F. are exempt from ADA rules and that special permission was needed to run 
the St. Charles cars in the Canal Street line.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
