Good call -- I'm not, but my father is.  And I'm pretty sure that's why
I got bumped off the one case I got close to being on the jury for.
Not sure the D.A. wanted the son of a criminal defense attorney on her
jury.  I think hearing my dad's stories made me more cynical than
biased...disinclined to blindly trust anyone on the witness stand.
But I understand why the D.A. would want to bump me and I can't really
say I minded not having to sit through the trial.
