The nice thing about Baa Haabaa is what is naath of thaar. The
tourists seem to die out at Bar Harbor and it becomes a lot more
civilized to the north. Did you ever take the time to see Franklin
D. Roosevelt's summer home on Campebello Island, New Brunswick, just
across the water from Maine.... a good half day north of Bar Harbor.
It was where he developed polio. I think he only went back once.

I've been fascinated by FDR because he had the ability, over and over
and over, to say what I tried didn't work, now let's try something
else. Perhaps that was the single most important reason why the
public elected the man for four consecutive terms. I don't think
he would have stubbornly "stayed the course" in Iraq. It's
intriguing too that he was raised in wealth and served his country as
a Democrat. His wife was quite an integrationist for her time. I
wonder if he had lived long enough, would he have converted the
military to an integrated service instead of Harry Truman????
Whoever, I owe them thanks for opening my eyes.

Damn, that's about as far as you can get from Pittsburgh trolleys.
