Hi Fred

It wasn't a railfan trip - and it wasn't a history trip.  It was a 'enjoy 
the scenery' trip.  Yes, I did make sure we 'stumbled' across Lowell, but 
that sufficed for the historic site visit.  But I also made sure we avoided 
three New England trolley museums and Boston.

As for Baa Haabaa, where else does McDonald's sell "McLobster" burgers.

As for FDR, he had the sense to realize that Einstein was telling him 
something that might be significant, even if he didn't understand it.  And 
acted accordingly.  Otherwise it might be a far different world today, and 
many of us probably would not be here.  And he won that fourth term 
primarily because Dewey put his country above his ambitions, and keep his 
mouth shut, something that can not be said for the Republican congressmen of 
that time.
