PRCo PCC #1095 was in one of two films shown in various now unused subway stations in Cleveland today. The car was shown and mentioned as part of this years first "Subway Tour" under Superior Avenue, W. 25th St, Detroit Avenue and the lower level of the Detroit-Superior High Level Bridge.

One of the most "exciting" things invloved with these Subway Tours is the walk across the Cuyahoga River Valley on the lower level of the Detroit-Superior Bridge in the right of way for the streetcars. One may look through the open steel grating over 200 feet to the floor of the valley. Not for the faint of heart! It's the same feeling

Also of notable interest is my conversation with Blaine Hays. Blaine is a former RTA employee (now retired) and has written several street railway books, mostly on Cleveland. He is also involved with the Northern Ohio Railway Museum just southwest of Cleveland in Medina County. However, today he indicated to me he has finished the "Pittsburgh Book." He said the text is completely finished and the only hold up is gathering photos and doing maps. Interesting news ! Blaine is an excellent writer and if this Pittsburgh streetcar history is as good as his two books on the streetcar history of Cleveland, then I should think we will have an excellent story of the PRCo system.
