 Yes, John. I have a couple photos of 1019 with the Evans City sign. I believe one is at the Elliot Loop.

I remember that destination sign:  86 Wilkinsburg via subway Express  (with express in green)  That ought to provide some consternation for future historians.  
 
Vague recollection that a "Evans City Express" sign would also occasionally appear.
