Lougee's "operating results" statistics, which list route 12 Evergreen
separately, also list
route 81 Atwood Street separately:
Round trip miles: 7.33
Revenue car miles: 106,000
Revenue passengers: 969,000.
Compare with route 12 statistics:
Round trip miles: 8.02
Revenue car miles: 57,000
Revenue passengers: 134,000.
It certainly looks like Route 81 was operated through from downtown,
at least during peak
periods. Assuming, of course, that Lougee's data for this route are
correct.
