Mr.Allman;

I wrote to Con Cor yesterday and received a prompt response (enclosed below.)
With such a large market for HO it would certainly seem that your suggestions for
a variety of trolley cowls and different doors would be excellent and an easy
'modification' wouldn't it -- door space would be open and the customer would snap the desired door configuration into place. It seems that a little more thought for this product could have produced excellent variety with minimum effort doesn't it.

I assume the model is one of the first Air-Electric PCCs for LA -- if it is the later Air Car
then the door configuration will be wrong for virtually all other PCCs won't it. LA cars
did have blinkers so this will work nicely for the Pittsburgh paint schemes.

The paint schemes seem to be 'decently' represented don't they:

First Group we hope to release sometime in the Fall 2008
Retail Price $159.98

0001-093001 Los Angeles Car # 3001 (Two Tone yellow)
0001-093002 Philadelphia (Philly Cream Cheese scheme)
0001-093003 Brooklyn Car # (Tan) (Has Next Car Light)**
0001-093004 Chicago (Green Hornet Scheme)
0001-093005 Pittsburg (Red and Cream Scheme)
0001-093006 San Fran. Muni "Magic Carpet Scheme" (Has Next Car Light)**

2nd Group of PCC Cars to be released Winter 2008 / 09
0001-093007 Join Civil Defense Car (Flag Blue / white / Red)
0001-093008 Pacific Electric (Red / orange) (Has Next Car Light)**
0001-093009 D.C. Transit
0001-093010 Philladephia Orange/ Blue
0001-093011 Baltimore
0001-093012 Boston Elevated Railway
The HO PCC cars listed below, are fully painted in the color
scheme listed,
but no lettering applied, for those of you who might
want to decal a car for
your own city, or private transit system.

0001-093050 Orange and Tan
--best choice if you want to repaint to different color
--just use the Orange and Tan as primer coat

0001-093051 LA Two Tone yellow paint- no printing)
0001-093052 Philadelphia (Philly Cream Cheese paint scheme-no printing)
0001-093053 Brooklyn Car (Tan paint - no printing ) Has "Next Car Light" **
0001-093054 Chicago (Green Hornet Scheme) -no printing
0001-093055 Pittsburg (Red and Cream Scheme) -no printing
0001-093056 San Fran. Muni "Magic Carpet Scheme" -no printing Has "Next Car Light" **

2nd Group of "no printing" cars to be released Winter 2008 / 09

0001-093057 Red/White/Blue patriotic colors -no printing
0001-093058 Pacific Electric (Red / orange) -no printing (Has Next Car light) **
0001-093059 D.C. Transit colors - no printing
0001-093060 Philladephia Orange/ Blue -no printing
0001-093061 Baltimore -colors - no printing
0001-093062 Boston- orange - no printing
By contrast the Russian cars in "O"-Scale are specific for whatever system one
desires with an endless variety of modifications and paint schemes aren't they.

models not ready to photograph till maybe end of Jan.
when we have photos we will post on net.
Model is of the LA car, single end only, we can not
make multiple tooling for various car bodies and
specific city differences.

When making mass producted model we have to settle on
basicly one design, can not do specific differences for
each city.

Will be up too customer if they want an exact specific
city model, or will be happy with something that is close,
but maybe not 100% exact.

We know about "h", will be fixed..

Thank you for your interest.
