Regarding the incline at 21st Street:

Some time ago, someone posted a photo of a mine railroad somewhere up on Mt. Washington, thinking it was the Castle Shannon railroad tunnel. After some discussion, it runs in my mind that we pinned the photo down to the mine which was at the head of that 21st St. incline.

(Boy, it would be nice to have a search function on the list's archive.)
