Well, AOL didn't do it. If someone's "end user" mail plugins did it, it
suggests a need to configure whitelisting. The problem I described (mail
to whoever and other AOL users from the list will be delayed) is accurate,
for AOL users.

This is AOL-specific. I signed up for feedback so I'd know if they
disliked me. It did once help me catch someone who compromised another
machine that I trusted, they were using that machine to inject actual spam
through mine.
