Since Phillip has been taking us on a world tour ... and I like  
that ... the picture of the gate in Pottsdam reminded me that when I  
was there some idiot had spray painted a swastika on it ... well  
since Phillip started us wandering I'm going to jump on the band wagon.

The Travel Channel is showing a program on one of those huge cruise  
ships ... three times larger than the Titanic ... fifty percent  
larger than the Queen Mary ... needs six diesel engines each the size  
of a school bus to generate power to run the beast and to light and  
to heat or air-condition it, to cook, to munch up garbage, etc.,  
etc., etc.

Where are those ships going to be in a few years with $50 a gallon  
diesel oil?
