Sort of, but just for the record. There were three stories from the 4398 roll-out. Yes, the upper echelon person keep looking my way with that look of - 'I've seen you before, but can't place where."
The second occurred when Scott Becker was taking Steve Bland around the TDB. Scott started introducing Steve to 5-6 of us, and I remarked that I have sent Steve a few million dollars over the years. That's when Steve looked at my name tag, and recognized the PennDOT connection.
And the third was running into Dave Good and giving him a tour of the TDB. He said that he had seen the TDB from the road, but never realized how big it was.
Also, I was mobilized twice, 23-months for Desert Storm and again in 1996 for Bosnia. In both cases, I stood on the pier/runway and waved goodby to the ship/plane, not the other way around. (:>) I've been thanking the American public of late for all the great opportunities I had in the service. As with so much else, it's what you make of it.
