The Pitt Digital Library has maps showing former street names (and
streets).

The south side, for instance, used to have street names where there are
numbered streets now, including some duplicates stemming from the fact
that this was the boroughs of South Pittsburgh, Monongahela, Birmingham,
East Birmingham and Ormsby.

Derrick
sent from the usual coffeehouse in Birmingham (smaller side streets,
tighter grid) after the walk from the apt in East Birmingham... but a move
to Ormsby might be in the offing
