Yes, it's more enlightening that way. When I went to Crich it was set up in
advance, and when I got there and said I wanted to see exactly what the
public saw they thought I was crazy. It amazed them all afternoon, in fact.
But they largely did what I asked.
I concluded during and after the visit that they were VERY inwardly focused.

I often do not introduce myself at museums as being an instructor so to
receive the same tour everyone else does. It is the best way to see what
they do well and what they do not do so well.
