Funny how an affinity for a public utility which 97% of population probably 
viewed as a necessary EVIL in their lives brought us together.

I owe my entire interest in both politics and sociology (as twisted as so 
many of my views are) to wanting to know why the 42/38, 35, 36, 37 and 49 
were facing demise during the early 1970s when they seem so well patronized.
