I had orchestra rehearsal last evening, but did set the vcr to record the 
Lincoln program on PBS.  Having more books on my shelf about him and his 
time than any other subject, a poster of his home in Illinois and his 
photograph hanging in our living room; I would not have missed it for the 
world.  I watched it this morning and was pleased they told the truth.

I have not been to Springfield to see the new Lincoln Museum & Library, but 
have traveled to all of those grounds that have been hallowed by his memory 
& deeds.

Springfield is a glorious place to visit and it is on the agenda once again 
for a second trip.
