I love it Howard! I love the looks of the road in the first photo. It looks worn and somewhat in need of repair, just like Pittsburgh. Gotta love the Isaly's touch as well, and of course the beautiful trolleys. I wish I had it in me to do this, but I'm more of a collector and not a modeler. But as I have seen from some of you, the rewards of modeling outweigh those of the collector.
I have stopped collecting SPTC cars as indeed they are very pricey. I have 8(7 PCCs) and probably will not buy any more. Although if Leonid decides to produce a 3800 series car, I will most likely dive in once again. I really would love to have a low floor double ender and a 1600 interurban, but just can't see spending that kind of money. If I were a rich man........

I've tied sending this message a number of times and Derrick's system seems
to simply hate me. So I'm trying it with links to the photos rather than
attaching them.
Here's some recent shots of my modules, hopefully they will make it this
time.
This photo is the 'downtown' module, that is fully self contained and can be
run alone. http://home.wowway.com/~handrews1534/PRC/hwa01.jpg
This is a loop - the Islay's is a scratch build structure based upon photos
of the Islay's on Brownsville Road in Carrick which is still standing, and
is where my older brother worked.

This is the track plans of the 2 primary modules, I have 2 more and am
working on some more. http://home.wowway.com/~handrews1534/PRC/MyModule.jpg
I live in Detroit now and joined the DUR (Detroit United Railways) traction
club. A number of us have build modules that we setup at local train shows
and have fun with.
