Mark,
In 1971, I was living in Cleveland, not a city known for major league hockey
or football (I don't recall the Browns ever going to the Super Bowl), so I
was remote from the NHL.
I returned to Pittsburgh later in 1971, in time for the Pirates World
Series, and most important....I met my wife-to-be the day I moved back to
Pittsburgh.
