Yes, Harold Cox is the expert on PRT.   At one time he had access to  
all of the PRT records but he has placed a lot of them in museum 
(s).   I do not, however, know what survived from earlier periods.   
The Hillside was a post 1911 car.   I cannot readily find an absolute  
date on line for the cessation of operations of Union Traction  
Company and the beginnings of services by PRT ... sometime between  
1899 and 1902.   It is, however, safe to say the PRT was formed out  
of a hodge podge of independent companies just like Pittsburgh  
Railways was and it is possible and maybe even probable that one or  
more of them had some way of getting mourners to graveside ceremonies  
prior to 1902.
