The railroads will always be the culprits, even though we know better.

Listen to the news;  "local car struck by train".  Any of us who have 
operated a rail vehicle across a highway will tell you the first time 
jitters of seeing a large vehicle coming at you and you suddenly realize 
that you are on rails and have absolutely no where to go other than forward 
or stop.
