[PRCo] Re: Pittsburgh Parking

I'm no help here...the last time I used Amtrak I rode the trolley to
Pittsburgh (and then waited a few hours for the train to show up) after
getting a ride to South Hills Village from a friend. We typically park
off-airport when we fly, and it's maybe $8-9 a day, which includes delivery
and pickup, along with a warm car when we pick it up in the winter. I'm not
sure what we'd do if we ever decided to go by rail. But methinks the $13
quoted isn't bad for urban parking. Seeing what large airports charge (the
cheapest at DFW, for example, is $14, and it gets worse along the Esat
Coast) makes me think it's market based.

Who has any advice?
We are taking Amtrak from Pittsburgh to Montana and need a place to leave
our car while we are gone. any suggestions? Leaving June 22nd coming back
July 5

The day rate at the garage next to Amtrak is $13.00. A bit pricey after 10
days even though it drops for the weekends.
