for a bibliophile, the University of Pennsylvania Bookstore @ around 35th 
and Walnut is fabulous. An easier way for Fred's proposed loop is MFSE to 
69th St., then Route 100(aka P&W) to Bryn Mawr, then back on R5 to 30th St.
