[PRCo] What to do around Philadelphia

Mark:

I take it you are going to be in Philly tomorrow, 11/24.

If you want to run on a slightly tight schedule you should visit South Hills
Junction. Amazingly it is up and running this week. You'll have to hustle
up to the SEPTA section of 30th St and get a ticket for Exton.

Leave 30th at 10:19 arrive Exton 11:10.

I'll meet you there in my red Toyota mini-van for a 15 minute ride to SHJ

Leave SHJ at 12:30 for 35 minute ride to Paoli

Leave Paoli on Amtrak #43 at 1:12

If we are running too close on time in Paoli I can get you to Harrisburg by
2:30.

Not much time to do much of anything, Mark. The area is somewhat safe to
walk around, but probably should not stray far from 30th St. station due to
time contraints. Derrick's idea has merit because you can control your time
better.

Could take a ride on SEPTA. Market St. subway and the w. Phil. light rail
lines are across street to west of the train station. Tokens are available
from station cashiers.

Also, the SEPTA regional rail platforms are on upper level of 30th St. And
they don't make train stations like 30th St. anymore.

Have a safe trip.

John
