Streetcar tracks do break through on Second Avenue a bit further
inbound. You'd have to be a fool to cycle on it when there's a trail
on the old B&O tracks with no traffic just a few feet above you. I
used Second Avenue just between Bates and (lower) Swinburne to get to
the Hot Metal bridge before the connector for the bike bridge was
done, but not since. I'd prefer to survive!
