The railway stopped existing in 1928. Apparently it was sold to one
Gomer Walters, who as it turns out lived through the 1889 flood and
would have been pushing 70 by then. Scrapping followed. His family
seems to survive.

My family seems to be of Brownsville, Steubenville and Pittsburgh, and
before that, Jamestown, VA. Some now in Kentucky and Texas.

No, the Johnstown-area interest dates to before high school, and at
this point I couldn't tell you why.
