The reality is that this map is an ornamentation.

The lines Dwight mentions are missing.  The Phillips route, which was opened
in pieces between Graham's Crossing and Uniontown during 1910-1914, is shown
as complete.  The line from Hecla to Baggaley, finished in 1913 and 1914, is
still shown as "proposed."  The Oakdale-McDonald property is not shown as an
owned railway line.

So please don't use this document for investment purposes.

The map is the same one that is in the West Penn 75th anniversary book.  In
that tome it is said to be a 1912 map, but if that is correct, it was out of
date when issued.  I think it is actually pre-1906, as by that year the gap
between Lazearville and Steubenville had been closed, as well as the line to
Weirton opened.

Perhaps Ed can clarify the date.
