>From discussions I've had these cars will be a plastic version of the old
metal Bowser PCCs. They may have a few prototype specific details but I
don't expect to see everything in the drawings. In fact I've been told that
the roof monitor would not be on 1600. It may have to be a scratch-built
add-on.

Mr.Allman;
Trust your recovery was 200% successful and you haven't contributed to any
more dents in transit infrastructure.
A technical correction to your post: the Pittsburgh car is 'not
air-electric'
but the
post-war all-electric demonstrator 1600 lost in the Homewood fire of 1955.
It
does
have standee windows.
Possibly to lower costs of production the same body was used for all models
with
a few
minor differences specific to the particular property included. The catcher
below the
windows, the Philadelphia style truck marker lights above the front
destination
sign
(PA Scale models did that; did Bowser take them over?,) skirts cut out
above
the trucks
(a latter day feature on many properties,) Philadelphia front window
arrangement,
Philly style clearance panel on the body behind the front doors, identical
window
arrangements, and flat folding doors on all cars are quite notable.
Pittsburgh does have a fan monitor but not the one used on PRC 1600 as seen
here:

Mr.Brannon: I discovered by trial and error that file names with spaces
can
sometimes
cause trouble; note the '$20' added in each space in your file name below.
I
was able to
view your file by going to the photo archives for the list. The file name
above
has the same
but doesn't cause trouble; it is not always easy to understand computers
and
programs is it.
I attached a crop of Mr.Brannon's picture to show only JTC and Prc. Let's
see
how it comes
through.
Phil
Without a 'coast' but not a 'cause.'
