I rode the 17th St. Incline only once. The incline structure over the PRR station tracks was not removed until the early 1950's.

True or Not - to me riding a streetcar in Pittsburgh is just like when I have gone to San Francisco riding the cable car or street car there!   The Strip needs them and Pittsburgh
needs them, stupid GM for talking the burgh out of them.   Ding Ding went the trolley!
Bring them back!

seems like we had an incline from the strip to the hill before, and
the springing points can be seen on bigelow blvd if you look.
