The shot of 1614 on the Thompsonville trestle was taken on a Pittsburgh
Electric Railway Club (ancestor of Pa. Tram Museum) enthusiasts' tour in
July 1952. I was on the trip. It started at Washington, went to Castle
Shannon, then to Charleroi (side trip to Donora), back to Castle Shannon and
return to Washington. Was a second car, 1646 or 47 as I recall, for Akron
RR Club members. I have exact dates and cars (and photos) at home. Great
trip!
