John Swindler found this.   For those who do not know him ... he is on the right.     Fred Schneider is on the left.   West Penn right-of-way between Scottdale and Iron Bridge is in distance.   I think Ed Lybarger is guilty of taking the picture.

It was 1986 judging by my Volkswagen.  I bought that car as an automatic with the idea that my wife would take it ... one year later she did and I bought an 1987 manual VW Golf.   My niece finally ended up with that car ... it had something like 190,000 miles on it when my brother-in-law decided to quit maintaining it.   

No the car wasn't stuck.   John was playacting. 

Or maybe he was escaping my cigarette smoke.   Ed could remember when I quit because he quit about the same time.  It wasn't long after this was taken.
