I happened to be looking at old maps and 1930 census data for that
corner of the south side over the weekend.
the horsecar barn was at 27th and carson. apparently a lot of stuff
moved around from the various underliers at
that end of the south side despite the fact that the line wasn't open
beyond 36th and carson particularly late
and never really seemed to be heavily used, at least based on what
i've been able to find. why? were there
bigger plans for lines through the south side?
