Subject: Annual Meeting and Pittsburgh Railways Company talk Sunday Dec 2.

The annual meeting of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Society for
Industrial Archeology will be held on Sunday December 2, 2012, 1:00PM
at the Cleveland State University Library 5th floor meeting room.
Metered parking is available in the public visitors lot underneath the
Library.

Our guest speaker will be Blaine Hays, co-author of the new book
"Transit in the Triangle, A Century Look at Pittsburgh Public
Transit". He will talk about the technological history of the
Pittsburgh Railways Company and the challenges that were surmounted to
build and maintain a transit system among the rivers and hills of
Pittsburgh. Blaine is well known for his books and talks on the
Cleveland Transit System.

The officers for the 2013-14 term will be elected. The nominating
committee (Frank Wrenick and Carol Poh) has recommended the following
people for your consideration:
President: Fred Fritzsche
Vice President: William Vermes
Secretary: Kathy Lawrence
Treasurer: Stephen Titchenal
Additional nominations for office can be made from the floor at the
annual meeting.

Guests are welcome at the annual meeting, but only those who have paid
their 2011 or 2012 membership dues may vote. 2012 membership dues are
$15 single or $25 household. Checks should be made out to NOCSIA.
