The proposed, but never built extension from Ford City (Rosston) to Freeport, Leechburg & Tarentum appears. It would have followed the Allegheny Branch of the PRR to just below Schenley, with a branch connecting to the P&AV in Leechburg. The main line would have crossed the Kiskiminetas River, the Low Grade branch of the PRR and then the Allegheny River to follow the Low Grade branch down to Tarentum to connect with the Allegheny Valley. Traffic loads would have never supported it.
