By the way, around 1998, I was at a conference where someone kept referring to "24/7",  I didn't know what he was talking about and had to stop the conver sation and ask.

I like writing.   But after doing about 1,000 press releases and government reports, two books and several years editing a magazine, I simply DO NOT NEED DEADLINES IN MY LIFE AGAIN.
