A related question:  when did the County Fair end and why?

Are the fairgrounds still there and if so what use is made of them?

When I started working for PATransit in 1972 PAT decided not to run
Skybusat the County Fair any longer. It was becoming an embarrassment
to the
transit authority because of constant equipment failure. Never got to ride
it and I probably didn't miss much.
