What may I ask do you mean by "and was used to compress PCC trucks for spring replacement"

Just curious,  what condition is the 3800 truck in?

Those are shop trucks from low-floor cars.  The 3800s had roller bearings.
One 3800-car truck survived the scrapping of the fleet and was used to compress PCC trucks for spring replacement.  PTM acquired it from Homewood in the '70s.

Take a look at the shot of the burnt out remains of 1600 in Bear's current eBay listing.  What are those trucks?  Obviously not belonging to 1600.  So, are they shop trucks or are they trucks from a 3800 series car, all of which supposedly scrapped by end of 1952?
