Yes, interesting.  However, I never heard Rt. 82 referred to as "Wylie-Center."  It was always Lincoln, as you say.

  From the April 14, 1960 issue of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.  Interesting article.  Of course, the Railways won out and was able to retain both 85 Bedford and 82 Lincoln lines, albeit until PAT took over in 1964 and just 2-3 years after converted both lines to "air-conditioned" buses.  ( I so remember that sales talk about "air-conditioned buses," in lieu of the streetcars.)
