Finleyville Continued

Greetings!
Agreed that the sign could be *used* - but Finleyville on a 3800 could
also confuse the passenger. They, too, know where cars can and cannot
turn! And would the car just deadhead from Finleyville to Riverview
-- deadheading was not one of PRCo's beliefs!:>) Since the 3800 would
continue in service to Riverview, why not just display Riverview?!!!
Otherwise, prospective passengers from Pittsburgh to a point between
Finleyville and Riverview *might* let the car go by!
It is interesting to note that none of these destinations - mid-route
terminals without turn-around facilities - for the 3800s were included
in the PCC interurban roll signs -- but then they place a hand made
Finleyville sign in a 14. Still wonder if that isn't a railfan fooling
around?!?!:>)
